Piano-Soleil

Filmed in two paradisiacal Brazilian nature reserves, Piano-Soleil is a dance video that explores the themes of pandemic confinement and the environmental threat to our ecosystems, telling the story of a woman's search for space to move, express herself, and escape her claustrophobic reality.

The project is the result of an international collaboration between Canadian pianist Marc Bourdeau, who performs music by his fellow Canadian Denis Gougeon, and director Caio Amon and choreographer Camila Vergara, both Brazilian artists.
