what we did
We follow Amazonian visual artist Sanipã, from the Caititu Indigenous Territory, throughout the creative process of her week-long intervention on one of the walls of the Ling Institute. Articulating the complex traditional graphics of her Aripunã people, Sanipã tells the story of the recent droughts in the Amazon through her mural, as well as the story of the divinity that emerges to restore ecosystems. The work is part of the "Ling Presents" project, curated by Vânia Leal.
