Ling Apresenta: Charles Lessa

We followed visual artist Charles Lessa, a native of Crato, Ceará, as he created a painting on one of the walls of the Ling Institute over the course of a week. Using vibrant colors, Lessa combines elements of his family history with the traditional sacred dimensions of the Sertão do Cariri region.

The work is part of the "Ling Presents" project, curated this year by Bitu Cassundé.
