what we did
We followed visual artist Bárbara Savannah from Pará for a week, during the creative process of her intervention on one of the walls of the Ling Institute.
Using the pigment "Xadrez" as an aesthetically affirming material choice from her homeland on Marajó Island, Pará, Savannah constructs a riverside landscape with the unique gestures of her brushstrokes. The work is part of the "Ling Presents" project, curated this year by Vânia Leal.
