Ling Apresenta: Acidum Project

We followed the duo Acidum Project for a week during the creative process of their intervention on one of the walls of the Ling Institute.

The work at Ling is part of the "Expedição Praieira" series, resulting from a long journey by the duo along the Ceará coast. The central figure of a lacemaker and the landscape she inhabits are constructed through the overlapping of mixed media, including the use of various stencil approaches, and combine transitions between the universal and the local through symbolism.

Formed by Terezadequinta and Robézio Marques, both from Fortaleza, Ceará, the Acidum Project creates murals permeated by the worlds of contemporary art, street art, and the roots of the tradition of Northeastern Brazil.
